Soubise and Charles, with much heat,
Disputing on their late defeat--
I'm not surpriz'd , the Frenchman cries,
That struck with fear your army flies,

On the loss and disgrace they had suffer'd of late,
Now Prince, says Monsieur, that we both have been beat,
